5 things going on with me lately

1. i went to the hunger games twice in less than 24 hours. 

and it was incredible both times. 

2. that overwhelming feeling of being so busy that things 

like going to the bathroom and eating seem to be a hassle has currently set in and taken over my brain. 

welcome to the last two weeks of your second year at college.

4. while the stress mentioned above has got me a little overwhelmed 

and i'm dreading living without my best friend,

yep, i went to that hippie event. 

i do believe i was nailed in the face with more purple and orange than i have ever encountered. 

maybe it was because i was the only single person in the group or maybe it was because i was a ginger.

i'd prefer to think the latter, accompanied with the fact that i look awesome all dirtied up.

its happened. i've been converted.

all those months of not caring and basically not loving what i thought was just another twilight trend, have finally turned around. yes. you better believe it.

my lovely friend since age 5, jenna, is getting married. 

freaked out a little? yes. 

so excited for her? even more so. 

i got this in the mail yesterday and cried a little bit in excitement. 

i'm getting this old now. i have friends having weddings and i get to be in them.

its the time when i have to buy engagement party presents, bridal shower presents, plan a bachelorette party, 

and buy wedding presents, all while trying to tan for the pictures. 

when did this happen? i feel like i'm in a movie. this isn't real. 

yes it is and i love it. i love my friends being in love.

you best believe that i will be buying these things.

i was a silly high school student once upon a time

five things that are currently going through my head right now

1. i am a klutz. and i can't change that. dangit. 

2. popcorn is only fun when you fight over share it with your roommate. and its only fun when its orville redenbacher's. 

3. you know, sometimes we have to do things we don't want to.  sometimes we have to do things that scare every last thing out of us. sometimes we have to be patient. i feel like i'm doing all of those at the same time lately. growing up a little bit? yes. 

4. lately all the movies i've been thinking will be good, are just terrible. i'm so disappointed with films these days. i'll just stick with my old classics, thank you very much. 

5. i have to wear green tomorrow and i don't really want to. i'm not a fan of this particular holiday.

today

once there was a time when i went far away and played with lots of my littlest friends all day long.

and there are lots of days when i miss my littlest friends.

and there are some days when i want to go back, right this very moment. 

today is all of those days. 

ps-i didn't make it seven days. it was definitely a coat day. ugh.

shooting for seven

you know when you go six days in a row without having to wear a coat in small college town, that its been a good six days. its been uncommonly warm, and while i should maybe be worried about the ozone layer disappearing or the possibility of a drought, i'm going to keep on crossing my fingers and hoping it stays this warm.

the end of my semester is getting close. 

and darn that sentimental emotional side of me is starting to dread it.

i'm not one who enjoys the end of things, even if it means the beginning of something good.

i blame moving, high school commotions, and the cancellation of too many of my favorite shows. 

i am a panicker. 

the panic-y elsa does everything she can to pretend its not happening 

and at the same time, pathetically holds on to anything she can. 

i blame tv shows, once again for making me so dramatic.

i'm pathetic, i know. but leaving my  twin could possibly be the death of me-fashion wise and fun wise. 

but it makes for the funny stories that i thrive off of and i enjoy them so much more. 

two hours and two dozen fortune cookies later, i was laughing and happy. 

i guess we all grow up and go different ways. but man, do i love those in between times of seemingly ordinary, 

but really rather extraordinary late night fortune cookie binging. 

yes i am aware that was probably the most dramatic and sappy thing i've written in a while.

jace and i went out to shoot some pictures for her blog today and we found the coolest place.
we always find the most random, but awesome places to shoot.
who knew small college town had so much to offer with so small a radius? 

today was messy and muddy.
