Hallstatt, Austria

we spent a day in the little town of Hallstatt and it was incredible.
we were up in the alps and i couldn't stop drooling at the landscape
and incredible houses that were built into the side of the mountain.

biggest adventure: salt mine tours, complete with two pinewood derby like slides,
a hogwarts gringotts train ride, and prison like uniforms, mandatory to wear.
i only wish i had pictures of the them. (it was too dark and dirty)
new try: a real German bratwurst. and it was tasty.
biggest attraction: the church at the top of the mountain with
centuries old and relatively new additions.
continual laughs: never being able to stop laughing at
that darn word "ausfahrt" everywhere we go

  1. The second German word I learned was the real German word for the source of your laughs. I bet you can guess what the first word was. I might only know about two other German words. Lets just say I have a German potty mouth. Okay that's more than you wanted to know, I'm sure.
