i'm the map

why had i never been to urban outfitters before christmas break? probably because i would have to spent all my time and money on things like this map.

(though it was on sale-i can be a thrifty shopper given my lack of income).  

I saw this map online in the summer and died thinking of the fun i'd have with it.  i mean, i came up with three great things right off the bat. first off, its a map. a map of my very own! for the girl that likes to travel, you think i'd have a map. then, its a scratch off map. like those fun mcdonalds monopoly months when i get excited to scratch off the cups and french fry holders. who cares about the prize? i just want to perfectly peel off every last bit of the thick silver substance. and now i can not only obsessively scratch just for fun, but it keeps track of where i've been too? excellent. maybe not for my ocd. but still excellent. 

and after thinking i've been so many places, i realize that i really haven't been that many places at all. its only 5% of the world. i guess i am so small. and this world is so big. i'm gonna walk a hundred miles. because i'm the little girl with great big plans.
